The online mail order company BonPrix, a company belonging to the Otto Group of Hamburg, is currently in the process of conquering the stationary retail space sector as well. The opening of the Fashion Connect Store hails the implementation of a pilot project, which offers a modern online-offline shopping experience.
The customers’ shopping companion is comprised of an app, which can be used to scan articles and select sizes. Customers are able to relax at the fashion bar and be inspired while the articles they have selected are prepared for fitting in the changing room. During the fitting, the articles can be reordered through the touchscreen without even having to leave the changing room. Alternatively, smart click-and-collect boxes are offered, into which the articles the consumer has selected are placed for collection. Checkout can easily be done at self-payment terminals without the need to queue up.
